Mother Teresa the founder of Missionaries of Charity, a Roman Catholic religious congregation adhered to the vows of chastity,
poverty, and obedience, as well as a fourth vow, to give "wholehearted free service to the
poorest of the poor , was beatified as
"Blessed Teresa of Calcuttaâ€. The 106th birth anniversary of
one of the greatest humanitarian born on Earth .Mother Teresa was celebrated in
the morning assembly at the premises of St. Montfort School.
The Morning assembly started with
the reflection into the life of Mother Teresa tracing out her achievements .A background music which comprised of a song written exclusively
for Mother Teresa was played on which a skit was enacted the skit showed
clearly how Mother Teresa helped the destitute widows orphan and needy people
of Indian Society .
Finally the assembly concluded with a
poem which showed the feelings of every Monfortian as a selfless humanitarian.
The students took up an oath to render themselves at the service of the society
and nation through engaging in charitable works both within and outside the
school.
