Admission to St. Montfort School implies on the part of pupil and the parents willingness to comply with the requirements and regulations of school.

Students, whenever they come to school, must wear the uniform prescribed for the season. Those who are not dressed in uniform may be excluded from the class or even sent home.

Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, neglect of home-work, disobedience and disrespect towards the members of the staff or bad moral influence will lead to dismissal. These pupils are responsible to the school authorities for their conduct both in and outside the school.

Repeated absence without leave, or absence for more than ten consecutive days renders a student liable to have his/her name struck off the rolls.

Special arrangements for examinations cannot be made for pupils who, for any reason, are absent from any of the test or examinations.

Absence/leave in examination will be treated as having received no marks in it.
- A student who fails twice in the same class will not be permitted to continue studies in this school.

Any student found resorting to unfair means in any examination will not be allowed to write the rest of the papers in that semester / examination and will not be allowed to continue studies in this school in the next session.
- Students are not allowed to be absent on the closing day / re-opening day, or whenever there is a school function.

Computer Science, as of now, is compulsory for classes II to X and will be charged extra. Those who take Computer Science in XI and XII as one of the subjects also will pay extra for the same.
- Vehicles will not be allowed in the campus during school hours for safety reasons.

Merit is the sole criterion for admission. Admission is done on the basis of evaluation and point system. The decision of the Principal will be final and binding on all.

School fees are collected in the school by D.D. or Cheque. The fee rates are subject to change from time to time due to the increasing cost of maintenance and other expenses.

Those seeking admission to Nursery should be within the age group of between 2.5 to 3.5 years on April 1 of the year of admission.

Those seeking admission to K.G. - I should be within the age group of between 3.5 to 4.5 years on April 1 of the year of admission. The age requirement for other classes will be on the basis of the above.
- Parents and students are also bound by the rules and regulations laid down in the 'students' Hand Book and prospectus'.
- 90% attendance will be necessary for promotion to the next class.
- Students are not allowed to bring motor cycles, scooter / mopeds etc. to school.
- Students are not allowed to have tuition by the teachers of the school.
- School fees once paid will not be refunded if admission is cancelled.
