Mr. Nikunj Maheswari, Shubham Moghal, Kajal Singh, Naman Sharma & Vishwas Chitwar from WWF – India conducted a seminar for 200 students of class – VIII on 13th Dec 2017 on school auditorium. Beyond cleaning up their school, the students were motivated to set up bird watching club, plant sapling with protective fencing, make worm compost pit and start with several other environmental project, Eco-Trail and to inform about wild Wisdom Quiz & one planet academy.
The seminar through its environmental Educational Programme and Education for Sustainable Devlopment,aimed at strengthening individual and institutional capacity in natural conservation and environmental protection through wide spread education and awareness.
Through a participatory approach by educational bodies responsible for curriculum, involving key stakeholders like students, teachers, parents, it helped in promoting and enhancing methods of conservation of forest eco-system .
